Have the blaock cleaned right by a engine shop, I am not convinced the home pressure washing that most do is ok, been there before...

have the crank ground and polished, don't forget to check runout, I woul;d have the caps alighn honed too, make sure they are right or it will fail again, the caps get hot when metal goes through the bearings.

I used a coated bearing in each engine, adds a little safety factor, Clevite coated is what I have.
