Bill find a shop locally and buy from them if you want standard stuff even if you pay a little more.

When you will buy something exotic you can have it shipped to the dealer you usually use and he won't mind.

Thant is how I do it here in VT.

I'm into small bore vintage Colt target pistols, like Match Targets, Woodsman, and the like. Also have a nice 12 ga. AH Fox Sterlingworth. Plus a several others.

I'm on GA, AA, GB, etc, from time to time. It's very rare to see a 95-98-99%'er sell for a "bargain". Prices on pieces in +good condition seem to creep up. I agree that connecting with a trusted local shop is a good source to buy from. Plus all gun shops, at least in NY state are FFL's. I also agree that if ya want a hand gun, get it now. No telling what Osama... er... I mean Obama, will come up with as far as the latest and greatest restrictions. Join and support the NRA too. I do believe the NRA is all we have on our side.

anyone tried the new ruger 380 lcp yet? Seems like a nice little conceal carry gun...

I have a Mossberg 930spx with 8 rounds of double ott, 18.5" barrel to meet and greet any perps dumb enough to come into the home and a glock 23, but its a little large to carry.
