im not running in salt water can i eliminate the sea water pumps? 502mag bravo 1

Like stated.....you can remove your water circulating pump that is on the front of the motor. You'll only run a few minutes if you remove the seawater pump off the bottom of the motor (til you blow it up).

but why remove it? HP difference is 10 maybe 15 hp and the motor was designed to have it on there.

Sure you can. You'll just need a place to mount a radiator.

Anyone know why it works fine for some but we all don't remove it? (circulating pump that is) 10-15 FREE HP is nothing to sneeze at! Why does Mecury run them? You'd think if they could spend a few bucks on engineering and testing without a circulating pump, gain 10 free HP and save production cost, they'd do it in an instant.

Duhh, just answered my own question: Can't remove it with closed cooling!
