Default LED bulbs for the gauges

Thinking of going to LED's for my autometer Z series gauges. Currently has the stock 194 bulbs with the red boots. I have a total of 27 gauges! (port side has gauges also) looking to cut down on amp draw by converting most of my lighting to led.

For the guys who installed the LED bulbs, are they any brighter? Did the "shade" of red look different?

Looks brighter - lil deeper red and consistent color through out.

I switched from the red covered 194 bulbs to the white LED's from Livorsi. Now the guages have a cool flourescent like glow that is sooo much easier to see at night and is easier on your eyes.

Highly recommend the switchover.

I did mine with blue 194 LED's. Came out great. I used the Oval Wide Angle Lenses $2.50 each. scroll down about 2/3's the way down the page. http://autolumination.com/194.htm

No adapter needed w/ monster gauges. They plug right into the socket. 120 degree wide angle viewing $0.79 each

194 series at the very top on the chart - 1-LED Wide Angle 3 lumen

http://www.superbrightleds.com/specs/bulb_specs.htm

These are the same bulb Livorsi sells.

That bulb looks like a direct replacement for a 194 ? Is that so ? I would like to change mine over also. Have Gaffrig gauges.
Hi Bill ! Long time no see. This is Mississippi bunch that came and rode with Macklin a few yrs back. Seen Macklin during christmas.

I don't know that I've ever pulled a bulb out of my Livorsi 2 1/16" Waterproof Series gauges. Are they the same as the Monster Series? Looks like a beneficial, easy and cheap upgrade.

Those bulbs from autolumination look pretty cool. they look better than the ones from Livorsi. I did do mine a few years back, so they have gotten better lately.
