Default Corsa exhaust leaking

Need to know if anyone else has had this problem and if there is an easy fix or silicon that can be used. Worst case I will order a new rubber tube.

Problem: I have an 03 Monterey w/ twin 350's and Corsa switchable exhaust. On one of the engines, the diverter tube that takes exhaust thru the props is leaking around the rubber 4" tube that connects the diverter to the "Y" tube behind the engine. I loosen all 4 pipe clams yesterday and pushed the rubber tube down, then took 150 grit sand paper to sand around the bottom of the diverter stainless metal tubes in hopes of getting a smooth seal, but is still leaks. Clams are as tight as I can get, anymore and they will break. The leak is on the top of the rubber tube (vertical), not the bottom which is odd, these means the water is coming back up in the opposite direction of flow.

Any suggestions?
