Larry,
With ARP's fasteners you really have to use the torque that they specify, along with the proper sealer or lubricant depending on whether your block has blind head bolt holes or if they go through to water. If you dont have the instruction sheet that came with the bolts, then wait till Monday and call ARP.

Intake 40 on steel with stainless bolt pulled out on me
I'm back to 35,with ARP stainless 12pt wilth arp sealer I would think the alum prob be the same ,same clamping force on the gasket?Usually they want ya at 80% of yield strength

My Chevrolet service manual states 80 ft. lbs. for iron heads and
65 ft. lbs. short bolts / 75 ft. lbs. long bolts for aluminum heads
