Default Bravo rear cover

I am sitting in my office thnking of the work I need to do on my Bravo drive tomorrow morning. Last season I accidentally shifted into reverse while engine was at an rpm higher than normal idle. There was somewhat of a load bang. I did not do anything about it over the winter. I put the boat in yesterday only to find out that I have no reverse. I do have forward...but no reverse.

Any ideas? Also, are the bolts that hold the rear cover on the upper housing Torx bolts? if so, what size? I am going to see if I can see a problem with the shift mechanism.

thanks
