Default Who wants to build my 502s into more CIs?

I have a pair of low hour carbed 502s that need to be gone through and bumped up to bigger cubes.....more the merrier but cost needs to be as reasonable as possible so keep it simple and keep it pump gas usable.

Anyone need the work and can provide references send me a PM with your recommendations and pricing.

Goals:
reliable big inch torque for a heavy cruiser (runs 35mph cruise & 45 mph wot with 415hp today)

arneson drives can handle 1,000 ft/lbs of torque

want to be able to run them at 50% all day long so 600HP would be ideal

not looking to poker run or do much high rpm running so keep it conservative - if I could cruise at 40mph nd top out over 50 I would be satisfied.

if we can make them low PSI blower ready (for future HP bump) -great

would prefer closed cooling system (salt water use)

Ideally:
Re-use what you can:
Holley 850s
Gen V 502s are bone stock
Gill Exhausts on now but can sell and change if needed
if stroking is too pricey - let's cam/carb them for a solid 550hp

I want a full mailbox - start typing boys and girls!

Wink Get What You Need!!

I would suggest some of the good shops right here on OSO, Ateco, Gellner, Potter, Chief, Mesa, Mark@ Performance, etc, the good jobs not going to be cheap!
It should just be a one time reliable, nice running package that will allow you to enjoy your boat and the season.
If you get a real cheap "special deal" grab your wallet and head the other way! Good Luck!

Best Regards,

Call Gary Smith at Carolina Race Engines in Fort Lauderdale.
(954) 791-6867. His prices are reasonable, engine builds are extremely reliable, stands behind his builds, has parts on hand and a very fast turn around time. Dyno inhouse.
