Default 7.4 MPI dies in neutral

After I run my 7.4 MPI for a while up on a plane, I will pull the throttle all the way back to idle and it idles fine, but when I switch to neutral when docking, the engine sometimes dies. Would this be an IAC problem or what? The engine is a 1998 with around 187 hours.

The IAC is the first place I'd look.

Is the 7.4 MPI like a 502 where you have to remove the throttle body to get to the IAC? Any advice on removal, cleaning and reinstall? Or just replace it? The boat is at the marina and I am stuck at work for another few hours so I can't see the engine right now. Thanks!
