remote oil thermostats

Just wondering what good - affordable (remote oil thermostats) are available. I found this one from Hardin however just thought I would see if anyone else has other recomendations.

i am gonna be running a perma cool thermostat that you can get from summit for 41.99, basically the same thing but not as flashy. doa search on here, there are allot of people using them.

"Basically the same thing". NOT Com'on. Not even a marine, let alone a marine performance part. Yes, agreed KE stuff is pricey. But, hey what good MARINE performance parts aren't.

Two suggestions: 1) stick with KE parts, great stuff.
2) Merc racing has a great thermo unit.

Hint: Contact Dean (mrhorsepower1). He had a couple of used Merc units at a good price.

I have a couple of these slightly used for sale if you need them.I also have the #10 to o-ring adapters.I removed them because I went with an oil filter housing and thermostat combination.
