What Boat to Buy?
I have a 1994 Formula 252 SS. I live on a lake that is very rough. I thought when I bought my boat last year it would be ideal for the lake. I was wrong. My main limiting factor is my current boat lift. It is good to about 27' and they said 7500lbs. What would be a good boat for fairly rough water, can carry 8-10 people, relatively fast and will fit on my lift? Any suggestion? Thanks in advance, look forward to hearing some suggestions.

I have a 2005 DCB FX 28 with a new interior and a fresh 540 big block chevy with a Pro-Charger running an ITS with an XR with an IMCO lower. The Boat was built to run Factory One class with a Mercury 525. There is coring through out the hull and deck and carbon fiber is used through out the structure. The boat will make your 7,500 lb. limit with a full tank of fuel.
We started a Poker run conversion (full interior, stereo, etc.) two years ago when we started racing our v-lite. It took a year and a half but it came out beautiful. The boat will cruise at 75 MPH with 5 people across rough water. You can find pictures on our website at pigironracing.com or call at 530-525-1638 (Advantage Marine)

Try a 28-30' outboard boat for low weight and maximum people carrying capacity.
