Default drive coupler are they the same for alpha and bravo

I just got the motor out and apart yesterday,

is the drive coupler (piece that bolts onto the flywheel where the outdrive shaft goes into)
the same for an alpha or bravo drive ?
is there a way to tell the difference,

can you run the bravo piece with an alpha setup ?

Ive heard the Bravo piece is stronger and will work with an Alpha setup but I just wanted to double check
