H/P lost

i have a profile 28' cat. how much hp is losted between the flywheel an the prop?

thaks for any help

Typical Bravo 1 drive takes about 30hp. A 500HP is rated at 470hp at the prop.

It varies with horsepower. A 365hp 454 mag is 350 at the prop. As Griff said, a 500 is 470 at prop. A 525 is 495 at prop. I think that works out to about 6%.
