Contact ProGram Engineering. They make replacement main cap sets for almost all big blocks.

Is the damage to the original caps way beyond the scope of aline boring or honing I assume it is extensive. Get 5 new caps and bolts and aline hone the block to factory spec. tolerances. good luck

You will deffinently have to align bore this block if it has spun a main, regarless weather you use new, used, or your old caps.

GM also has new caps for a very reasonable price. They are unfinished and will require line boring. A good machine shop should be able to align bore and hone the block for you without moving the crank up more than a few thousanths. Unless of course the spun bearing did more damage than that.

You need to take the block to a machine shop and have it line bored with the new caps. You will have nothing but problems if you don't.

The caps and block are matched by align boring. You won't find a cap that will just bolt up and fit like the others. Any new cap will have to be align bored/honed to match the block.
