Default need a formed fuel line for 525sc

I just replaced the fuel pump and pump slip ring assembly on my 1995 525sc

of course I cross threaded the compression fitting at the fuel pump and need a new formed fuel line from the pump to the dual feed at the carb

32-817130

mercruiser parts ( BAM Marine) says this is no longer available
any advice other than making a new one

any place to look

any luck re-tapping these fittings??????
not sure if I like that idea

Replace it with some stainless braided line maybe???

Then again go and get a straight line from parts store, along with a small tube bender and double flare kit and make a new one. It might seem hard to do, but it really isn't.

I'm guessing that for half the price of what Merc would charge, you could buy a double flare kit, tubing and a bender.
If I remember correctly, Merc uses a female thread on one end that's kind of hard to find, so save that and reuse it.

I felt that the OEM line was too small and I changed it out to -8 braided stainless and AN Fittings.
