700 sci recalibration

Curious if anyone out there is running whipples stage one or 2 on there 700 merc. I have heard through the grape vine that there was some issues with them and was trying to find out the truth. If you are running a 700 with the upgrades let me know your honest truth.

2009 Nordic Heat - 600sci - SCX drive - Whipple Stage II
Tim at Oregon Custom Marine is running a stage II whipple kit on his 700sci in his Nordic Thor.

Took the boat from aproximately 110 mph to 120+ mph.

He has quite a few hours on the motor since the upgrade, and has had no issues.

I have had a Stage II on my 600sci for this entire boating season.... and it runs great!

Dustin at Whipple is awsome to work with, and I would highly recommend this upgrade.

Hope this helps,
Chris

I have heard good things about the 600 but I have been around some 700's that did not run well with the recal. They ran hard for the test for the magazines but not an all day relax ride. I need some sort of reliability.
