I have to use the starboard tab about a quarter the way down on the indicator. Number 3-4. I took out my toilet and tank on the starboard side hoping this would fix the problem. It didn't help. My ice chest is on the starboard side inside the cabin. It usually weighs around 20 lbs. I didn't think 20 lbs would make that much of a difference on a 38 foot boat that weighs 12000lbs.
It sounds to me like you should be running more tab at cruise speeds anyway. I run mine near parallel with the bottom at cruise and have to run my starboard about a 1/2 to 1 mark lower.

Thanks everyone for the input. It seems this is normal. I am about 50lbs more than my wife, plus an ice chest on my side. It totals to about 70-90lbs more on the starboard. I'll fill up my water tank on the Port Side, as it is empty. Maybe I'll let my wife drive? HA HA!
