comp cam XM296HR ???

Is anyone running this comp cam part #01-456-8 with good results. I have a gen6 iron eagle 308 heads carburetor engine with 9.7 compression ratio. I'm on a tight budget and need to save on some parts.

I used the xm284hr in by build, just 502 mags gen4 ported heads, 496 take-off exhaust, used orig intake, 800 holley's, 9.2 cr, after hp500 ign modules very happy with results, great power increase over orig not a monster by any means but could definately feel the difference and picked up honest 7mph and 500 rpm,s without prop change (this year)
