Default Blower Hatch/Scoop Height

Hi,

Could anyone who happens to be out working on their rig today, and has a 8 or 14-71 blower and intercooler setup pull a measurement from crank centerline to the top of the flame arrestor?

I'm debating on what type of hatch to build for an old cigarette, and whether I should go with a Whipple setup, or if I can fit a traditional roots setup and not have a completely rediculous looking hatch. Clearly I can get a regular roots setup for reasonable money, but can I make them fit? A Whipple EFI setup will fit under pretty much any hatch.

Thank you in advance!

the raised top gun factory hatches are cool so are the pro stock scoops, I had them on my ol and people thought they were cool, now on my new boat I need to do the same thing on or the other for my blowered 1071.
