steering helm size?

I have a single engine 24ft boat with a hp 500 bravo xr and ITS
I am currently using a 120 cc helm and the boat feels like it wants to make a u turn at the slightest turn of the wheel
( ok maby not that bad)
Just wondering what other people are using?
also I have only 2.5 turns lock to lock
my concern is when running the boat in some rough water that if I get bounced around a little I don,t want the boat to turn unexpectedly
thanks i

2.5 turns lock to lock is a quite a bit. Thats what mine is on my AT and I think its too much. I would prefer 1.5-2. My Pantera was less than 1.5 turns lock to lock and it never felt like you describe yours does.

NONE
Helm Size

we sell the helm that you are using for a twin 28-32 application.
If you want a slower steer ratio use the next size smaller helm.

That's the nature of the beast!! Those steering cylinders are so short they react fast, i think your on the rite track with the bigger helm..
