supercharger throttlebody
so i just finshed building my 502 gen 5 EFI sidemount 2.3 liter whipple supercharger motor. So heres my question. Whipple made an aftermarket throttlebody for this unit that flows better than stock, and they no longer carry this product. Does anybody have this throttlebody? I currently have a stock throttlebody, with upgraded heads and machined the intake manifold to flow better. So you can see my problem, my throttlebody is going to restrict the amount of air coming into the motor. If not, what have other people done about this problem? has anybody used a universal throttlebody and modified it to work? Any help with this problem would be great? thanks again

I have a early and a late 502 mpi throttle body that have each been modified (professionally bored out) with bigger throttle blades ready to go that I will sell on a exchange basis,Smitty

Was bored out from 2.350 to 2.570,we saw a 10 hp or so gain on the dyno N/A swapping from a stock one to the bored out one (motor is not stock though ,manifold is also ported). We were going to also do back to back testing with bored out throttle body running boost but after we made some really good numbers boosted we never put stock one back on to see how much it would drop,Smitty
