Default prop advise

I have a flo torque hub prop I think( how can I tell ) and i just discovered they are rated for 400 hp. Now I am running a 600 hp engine 25 foot baja bravo 1. Should I switch to solid or not worry about it.

the flo torque has a plastic insert should be real easy to identify if you haven't had a problem yet I'd just keep what you have but pick up an extra one to keep in the boat in case you blow it out

I run the solid insert, it looks like bronze or brass. I have been using the solids for years and never had a problem.

I have 625 hp in a 26 ft wellcraft nova, a heavy boat. I ran a flow torque hub and stripped it out pretty quickly, I would recommend a solid hub. I've not had a problem since I switched 2-3 years ago.

I ran 610 HP all last season on a flo torque hub with no issues. Baja Hammer though so not as much weight to move.
