The Holley or Edebrock pump is plenty, stay away from those racepumps.

Clay Smith makes the best mechanical fuel pump, good for
1200hp, but the edelbrock or holley should do you fine! you don't need to boost referance your fuel pump UNLESS you are
running a blow thru setup, which pressurizes the whole carb
in a box!

I have a gen5 block and running an electric pump but I would like to get away from it, should I just get the Merc waterpump to run a mechanical pump or does anyone else make this type of set up, any part numbers would be helpful, 650hp

If your block can support it I have the race pump that was talked about earlier in the thread. It will supply more fuel than you will ever need and also takes less horsepower to run than a stock pump.
