Excuse my ignorance, when you say trimmed out are you referring to trim being up once I have planed? If so its around 4.5-5k.

I used to have an 89 scarab excel w/350 (260hp) I ran a 21p 3 blade (no trim tabs). It did stand a little tall in the front out of the hole but leveled out fairly quick.

my 91 21 runs great with a 24 Hydromotive. Runs better in the rough and is only 1 mph slower than the 25p Mirage plus.

When I bought mine it had a whale tail which didn't help.also had a 23p Mirage on it.

I run a modded 454.

reason asking about through hull or through prop exhaust is theirs a vented propeller that makes the boat jump on pland better..

What you need to do is tell us what prop you are running and then we can go from there, a lot of these guys are running bb not sb with more power than you and it does make a differnce to get on plane .When you are loaded to go out is all the wait in the stern ( putting stuff under the bow might help )

I thought about that but 85% of my weight added to the boat is people, and I am not trying to stuff people in the front just to take off. I will look at my prop this afternoon.
