Default 575sci spec?

can anyone please tell me what the fuel pressure and timing spec for a 2004 575sci is? if im @ 8lbs intercooled does the spec change? im just looking for a baseline i seem to be running rich right now but i expected that with the elevation i'm running at(5000ft).

thx, Tony

Stock fuel pressure is 28psi @ idle and 26psi @ wot. If the ecm has been remapped like AZSM or whipple does with their 575 kits, the stock fuel pressure is used. Teague does not remap the ecm with his chillers, he increases the fuel pressure with an aeromotive pump and an adjustable fuel pressure regulator. If you find out what pressure he specs out for his kits I would like to know.

If the chiller is plumbed in on the outlet of the sea pump and running all the time at idle, it will run rich. The stock 575 runs rich at idle at 28psi. If it running rich @ higher RPM you could back the pressure down. I have decided to go transom pickup and force feed my whipplecooler. When plumbed that way there is water flowing thru the chiller and idle quality is a lot better.

I am in the process of replacing the 256 blower with an 871 and whipplecooler. I will be running the Arizona Speed and Marine 575 flash and upping the fuel pressure with an adjustable regulator.

i've got a transom pickup for the intercooler. sometimes it will load up at start up and puke. under hard eceleration ive seen the fuel pressure go to 90psi for a second or two then back to normal 30-35psi. i'm guessin that has to do with the adjustable regulator. if you ease into it it's fine. still think my fuel pressure might be a little high. i was gonna ck the timing and see where it's at. manual says 8* btdc at 1800 rpm.
