Default Mechanical trim indicators are sticking!!! Help please!!!

My trims needles are stuck on all the way IN occasionly freeing up & working... Any tricks to free them up for the weekend till I can have the cables replaced?? Thanx

no tricks, but i just replaced mine....while keeping an eye on the kids, 1.5 hrs...just get up early sat, or stay up late fri........

You can try taking the spring loaded actuators apart on the trim rams. Clean them really good, some WD40, work them back and forth. Wd40 again. On my old boat, i added springs to the cables behind the indicator panel. Helped buy me some time. Forget where i got the springs. I think they were like carb return springs...
