825 mighty marine demon
I was wandering if the 825 mighty marine demon would be a good carb for a hp 500.
Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated.

I have had alot experience with the demon stuff and never had good luck with them,i have used them on marine and cars-switched to holley stuff and never looked back, easier to tune and parts are a little easier to get on a sunday if needed.

Depends on who you talk to.
Yes an 800 up will be fine for 500 HP (see posts). Mines been a great carb and has a much better signal than my old 750 Holley.

Not to be contradictory, but as of last Thursday at a bare minimum - the jets & power valves were totally interchangeable.
Steve Brule from Westech used the same parts bin in the dyno room for my Demon,- its a Holley parts bin filled with jets valves etc.
Note the 4 drawer bin in the dyno room in post 1 above. There is no "Demon" bin.
