heya guys, long time no see. US1, nice detail on the chart and the relay. I now have some parts on order. Problem I'm having is figuring out what kind of switch I need. I'm a computer guy, so be gentle and give me something with kiddie pictures to look at. This electrical stuff is hard for me to grasp.
The switch on my 1990 dash is an original 8 connector, 45 degree two way turn, with center off, spring loaded momentary. Of course the guys at Wellcraft, the local Wellcraft dealer, and a few other places laughed when I said I needed a new actuator switch.
So I'm not going to use the hole in the dash. I'd like to buy a new toggle type and install install it somewhere in the back near the hatch itself, maybe between the pad and the backseat in the gap? Don't know where exactly, but I'd like to find a spot. So what kind of toggle should I buy?

Yes, I know, old thread. I am getting ready to do this mod after burning up yet another dash switch and I was wondering if a RY82 relay would server the same purpose as the dual Bosch relays. These are commonly used in cars for power conv tops or power sunroofs. Seems like it might be a little bit cleaner. Does anyone know if this will work?
