Default Corsa Q&Q+ trouble shooting

I am trouble shooting my Corsa diverters. They appear to be open all the time. Question;

How are they supposed to work?. Are they activated to open and deactivated (spring loaded?) to close? Or is it the other way around?

Thanks

For sure it is a switchable exhaust (Captains Call). Are there springs somewhere to make them close?

Ok, this is the situation; The solenoids are actually closing the through transom exhaust when activated! What happens when I activate them is that one of them flips back in open position after 5 seconds. So the so

continued; So the solenoid is capable to close the exhaust port but it can not hold it. Any ideas of what to do?

Thanks

You need to adjust the solenoid stop by closing the valve manually then adjust the arm length until the piston bottoms out in the soleniod then adjust it out a half a turn. Trust me I sell them and have to do it all the time.

Brian,

..very interesting !
I have a Corsa on a Cobalt, (Volvo 5.7) and it leaks a lot.
Both valves flips fine, (open, makes a little difference), but, when close, a good part of the exhaust still go through the hull ports. Do you think it is also an adjustment problem ?
(For exemple, I never have any exhaust through propellers (DP) nor through anticavitation plate !)

Thanks in advance, Co227

I can flip the switch from quite to loud and only one solenoid engages, if I go over and give it a little nudge it works and holds fine for the entire time. when I select captains call it works fine when it goes quite and releases without issue. do you think that needs adjusting or a totally new solenoid?
