finished it all tonight and took it for a rip, 750 holley and a gm performance ls-6 intake. gained 300 rpm and 4 mph. so pumped. the only thing i miss is the nice cold starting of the efi. other than that never running it again.

this is getting difficult to read. let me clarify. the fuel pump is on the sea water pump and will probably work, as it is a low pressure pump that supports the electric fuel pump. the electric fuel pump takes the fuel and brings it to high pressure. the distributor can be used without the efi setup just as it was used by many other applications. you do have to shunt it to do the timing. please refer to a proper service manual.
