Default power steering

454 engine, power steering line sprung leak while out on the water about 30 miles out today. Had new spill kit rags and pig pillows on board. Cleaned fluid best I could, and bagged all the rags. My question is, after disconnecting belt to pump I ran boat back to marina, did I hurt anything, by steering the boat with no power steering? I will finish cleaning and replace hose in the morning. Anything else I should do?

Unless the pump ran dry, no. You did the right thing by disconnecting the belt. Randy

Running without the PS pump will not hurt anything except your arms.
