Default 454 Mag

I have a stock 454 Mag with Thunderbolt ignition. I can only get 44-4500 rpms wide open. Is there any simple inexpensive things i can do to get more out of it?

454mag is 4600-5000 rpms WOT range. You should be able to spin a 23 Mirage easily up to 4800-5000rpms with your boat and a 454mag. See if more trim helps. Use the trailer button to trim it a little higher if needed.
