Who makes a decent sea strainer that wont cost an excessive amount of money?

They are all expensive. Hardin/CP Performance probably has the best prices for a quality piece. They have them from about $300 or so and up. They are all nice and are well built.

I have a used KPM that will handle 2 engines, 6" round and 18" tall with a blue top. for $400. plus the ride.

Get one from Teague. And spend the money for the wing nuts, it is easier to open by hand.

They are "wing bolts" that can't come out of the cover so can't be dropped. Yay!
