Default Livorsi Oil Temp gauge: I can't understand it!

Does anyone know/understand the logic of the intermediate marks in this instrument?
I'm going nuts trying to understand which numbers are supposed to be associated to each intermediate mark...
Mind, I know that it's probably not worth bother about them because the gauge isn't so accurate anyway.
But I was looking at the performance report of my Fountain, and it shows 140/180/195 respectively when Cold/Hot/WOT.
Now, I'm wondering where the tester could see the 180 for instance. Not to mention the 195...!?!

Well, not in my dashboard, where only the water and oil temperature have intermediate marks whose logic is hard to understand (if any!).
The other ones are:
Fuel: empty to full, main marks at empty/half/full and intermediate marks at each quarter;
Water pressure: 0 to 35, main marks at each 5 increment, with 5 intermediate marks between them;
Oil pressure: 0 to 80, main marks at each 20 increment, with 1 intermediate mark between them;
Voltage: 8 to 18, main marks at each 2 increment, with 1 intermediate mark between them;
Speedo and RPM are also marked very clearly.
Mind, I'm not saying they're all accurate, but at least they're consistent....
