Default a/c question

When the compressor starts it kicks the breaker. It will cycle the first three or four times then it kick the breaker. Water is coming out of the thru hull. Any idea?

most likely compressor is gone..drawing way more amps at startup....depending how old the unit is if worth replacing the compressor...most of the time we replace the unit, can help you with that if needed, feel free to give me a call Rob 540-786-8111

It seems to be the breaker. It worked all night after I replace it.

used to be a marine air systems dealer for years, then they got bought out about 10 years ago....everything changed now been with mermaid for almost 10 years....glad it was only a breaker....Rob
