What are your symptoms that make you think it may be reversion? Loss of power? Rough Running? Stalling?
With an LSA of 114 and the SS risers, while the exhaust is open you shouldn't have any issues. Do you have internal baffles? (they caused me issue once)

Sludge under valve covers and runs rough 60 seconds after opening the exhaust..close the exhaust and it smoothens out.
I cured the sludge by installing pcv valves...This rough running started when i purchased EMI 512 exhaust..I had stock merc before with the merc silent choice and never had this problem

Finally found the problem...along with cause of the white sludge under the valve covers....
Rotted out heads...water spraying in from the exhaust ports..Ran rough at idle only..Above 1000 rpms ran awesome
I looked in the exhaust pipe from the outside in and noticed water droplets laying inside the eddie marine riser..Removed the riser and saw cylinder #5 water laying in exhaust port...Removed spark plug cylinder #5 and a cup of water came out of the cylinder.
pressured tested the engine to 15psi ... water spraying out of exhaust port..
need 2 sets of heads 781 castings
Now i'm really not happy
