Default Trim switch trouble

Ok. I have bravo X drives. I am having trouble trimming down my drives when running, unless I trim them all the way up to the limit first. Then they will go down again. Any ideas would be appreciated. Also, I can override it using my trailer switches, but really don't like, nor want to do that.
