How do you run two GPS speedos ??
I am thinking about installing a second Livorsi GPS speedo for my passengers to see. I noticed in the Livorsi catalog there is a harnees to run 2 GPS speedos off of one antenna, but the price is $336.00. Is there a cheaper way to do this?? Thanks, Jeff Wurl

All you need is a 4800 baud GPS signal to the white or orange wire on the back of the speedo, either from the puck or from your dash mount GPS.

I was wondering the same thing, I have an external antenna that runs my Garmin GPS (which also shows MPH) but I want to replace my current water pressure MPH gauge with a GPS Speedo and use the same antenna but have no idea how ti do this.
Bye the way the links in the old thread no longer work.

If you have a GPS antenna allready on the boat you can split the signal to how ever many displays you want. The only issue with splitters is for GPS use they are usually amplified and costly. You can go the cheap route and get all the parts from radio shack if you like. Heres a quick and dirty posting on such a venture.

Hell, i cant even get my FIRST Livorsi GPS Speedo to work correctly, let alone a second! I have the dreaded GPS dead battery syndrome, stuck at 9:00 on the speedo. Work design ever, and horrible customer service leaving everyone hanging!

None of these splitters mentioned will work with my Livorsi GPS speedo. Mine is the newer style Monster gauge that uses square plastic wiring plugs. Jeff Wurl

All I did for my Autometer set up, was to split the antenna signal wire and splice it to work with both speedo's. I only used one power and ground from one speedo to power the antenna. It works like a champ with no adapters needed. I was told that the signal has powered as many as 4 speedos without a signal booster.
