A good tune and a good set of header manifolds or headers will probably net you the best bang for the buck on those engines as spec'd.

Best Regards,

That will wake them up. If you still have regular Holley 950HP's they will be your limiting factor. I played around on a flow bench testing some carbs and different spacers. Maybe some "unscientific" data, but my old Holley Barry Grant 750's outflowed new Holley 950HP's all day long. You need Dominators!

I like the Pro-Systems 1000, but if you're looking for a great idle with a bigger cam go to the SV1. I would look at Lightning headers and Harland Sharp 1.8 rockers. Biggest bang for the buck and easy to do.

I have spoken to Patrick @ Pro Systems on a number of occasions regarding the SV 1 in marine applications. Having seen them perform on the automotive side it is amazing just how clean they are throughout the entire pull. He is, however, very cautious about bringing any product to market prior to it being fully sorted. The development and test cycle for the marine side should be completed this late spring, early summer at which time they will be brought to market. We may be doing some of the testing on these and anticipate them to be a major step forward.

FWIW.... I have a 557 with AFR 315s, mild solid roller and a Dominator. KE for exhaust. 696hp on the dyno. Runs like a banchie yet very well behaved in no wake zones and at the dock. I like the Dominator.
