Default Is a 1995 7.4L Mag a hyd roller or flatt tappet?

Just picked up a nice 95 Formula 252 with a B1 and 7.4L Mag MPI. It runs fine and I don't see doing much to modify it YET, but my mind is always ticking. I believe 95 was right around when mercruiser shifted from Gen V to Gen VI big blocks. I believe both are capable of using hydraulic roller cams, but does the 95 Mag actually use one? If I wanted to do a cam swap at some point is it reasonable to go roller if it's not?

Look at your timing cover, if it is composite you have a hyd. roller, if it is steel you have flat tappet cam.Composite I think has less bolts and they look kinda recessed the way the cover is made.
