Angry looking for westerbeke generator parts???

I have a 6.5 kw gas generator. Looking for parts. Westerbeke is very expensive. Any info on who makes the parts: gaskets, maifolds, sea water pump. Thanks.

I have had some luck on craigslist, typically florida, for some Westerbeke parts. Also, ebay on occasion. But sometimes cheap ends up being more expensive in the long run. No subsitutes for Westerbeke parts, except for those that Westerbeke had other manufacturer's build originally (i.e. raw water pump).

In the instance of the raw water pump, a whole lot cheaper to rebuild yourself than buying another. Rebuild kits are about $100 ish and a new pump was $465 (in my instance). Typical life on a raw water pump is about 5 years. Impellers are different story.

Good luck.

Here's where I get my filters and zinc. Haven't had to do anything major to it. Westerbeke parts through. Not exactly what you're asking.
