What engine do you have? Are you pulling and installing the engine yourself?
If you have a base 300hp 454 just go with a reman, even it is if a mag I would also consider a reman. Switch out your stuff and core the old. Many people on this site (except one lol) have had good luck with Eagle Engines.
If you are doing the swap yourself start a thread, many people on this site would be happy to guide you through it.
How many hours on the engine, any idea what caused the failure?
