Yes, they are still in business. They do build one hell of a boat. It's has to be the best looking cat in it's class. Not to mention it has more room in it than much larger boats.
I would absolutely love to have one. I would also really like to put some power in one.

RPM builds a great boat! It tracks and turns EXCELLENT. The ride and handling of this boat in rough water is comparable to a much larger boat. It has alot of space and room for a boat it's size. We have had one of our naturally asparated 565's tested in the April/March 2009 issue of Powerboat Magazine in the 26 Redline and it ran 103 + with a damaged propeller. The boat actually ran 106+ the day before the test. Their was also a right up in June 2009 in Powerboat. This summer, we put one of our 565 engines with a single 3.3 whipple supercharger in another 26 Redline and it runs consistantly in the low 120's. As of now, Steve at RPM is working on the new lightweight version of the Redline which has no cabin. They are currently running in the 116+ range with one of my 565 naturally asparated engines and we are out of propeller. I am more than glad to answer any questions on this boat. I've dealt with them for a long time !

i have seen all! the utube videos.......
i would think that by now there should be a few used ones about for sale.......
the 3 digit speed is a bit much for me but considering the speeds this machine posts, a stock merc bb application would make this virtually bulletproof at wot all day
ahhhhh who am i kidding the 3 digit speed would be over the top.......

Steve of RPM makes what I consider to be the best cat of its size.

The reason you don't see any of them for sale in the used market....it that they are so good...their owners arn't selling them...nor do they get tired of them.

Chris ,
Your right! Noone wants to get rid of them because they are an awesome boat! I have a customer who wants to sell his 09' because he is ready to upgrade to the new lightweight carbon fiber model without the cabin! These boats are great!!

i did see one for sale about a yr ago...... wasnt around for long......
one tends to go with well known larger more established manufacturers rather than new upstart companies no disrespect intended....... just the reality of any market place
just didnt realize how good a boat they were at the time and here where i live and boat we get some but not a huge variety in high performance boats i have to rely on large forums such as this for any real info and even then not being attached to the industry in any way still makes it difficult ,,,, takes many hrs of research and reading of threads
my current tub a Laveycraft in BC Canada might be less than a hand full registered here perhaps even less... i would be very interested in knowing how many are registered here
as much as i love her..... my need for speed leads me astray
i like both top quality and unique
and i will be contacting you in the new yr to find out whats available
regards and best of the season....
