The guy never e-mail d me today or called. grrrrrrrrrr. I tried calling a few minits ago and they must be closed. I left message and will call at lunch tomorrow.

It is a gen VI or IIV,it has the roller cam set up.., sorry but its not a 502,it has a flex plate instead of a flywheel which talls me its out of a truck..

hard to make out the casting numbers,chitty pic...

if i were to guess from looking at it its a 8100 vortech truck motor..

so what is an 8100 vortec block? is it a 454 ? I see the casting number as
2556110 is that what you see?

i sent yu a email,,after cleaning up the pic i came up with 12556110, 8100 vortech truck,,from the looks of it it came out of a 4500.5500.6500 series truck..

Hey thanks fixx for your help.

Well folks back to the drawing board not a 502 but a 496. I was so stoked I just sent the guy a note and told no dice

Eddie's Right.... I have been running Gen VI hardware @ .630/.631 with all the stock hardware works perfect and is
almost the best to run. = @ camshaft 0.353 lift but you have to run the right grid "base circle" to make it work right. plus I run 60 psi plus for oil pressure stock pump that's all you need.
