I Have A 97 Fastec 271 With A 502. I've Seen Cp's Ss Series Efi Upgrade. Anybody Familiar With This? I Need Some Help Out Of The Whole With 4 People In The Boat. Running A 24 Pitch 4 Blade Prop

I have not seen this upgrade before, but it looks ok. Just not sure it will help you enough getting out of the hole with the stated 15HP. Are you running stock exhaust manifolds still? If so, then they are probably due to be changed and that would help more than this kit, but they do cost more money. Have you tried an other props?

I Have Not Touched This Boat. I Bought It Last Year From A Friend. It Real Solid But Needs Some Bottom End Help When Loaded

You aren't really going to notice that extra few hp from that kit. Best thing you can do is drop down a pitch or two on your prop. What RPM's are you running at wide open throttle with your current prop?

Hmm......that is right where you want to be. It all depends on how much money you want to spend for more power. Changing your exhaust and adding that kit should make a difference. The factory exhaust is very restrictive and yoiu are just wasting money on performance mods until you change that out. You have to be able to flow the kind of power you want to make.

Best bang for the buck would be supercharger IMHO. That should get you on plane in hurry with your current prop.
