Default switchable exhaust upgrade?

hi all i am looking to purchase a boat soon and silent choice or other switchable exhaust is a must.my question is how much $$$ would it cost me to go from strait through exhaust out the back with rubber pipes to a switchable exhaust?not sure on boat yet but prob a formula 271 with 496 ho or 502 around year 2000.

you can probably find prices on most of the advertisers on this site but I would just look for a boat that already has it

I might have a set of the Y pipes since I had to switch to a different type when I swapped out my 496 for the 525. I'll see what I have and figure out what they are worth.

I do have the two Y pipes with electric solenoids attached. They have 4 seasons use on them and are in excellent condition. You would still need the big Y pipe to route the exhaust through the prop, some 4" ID silicone exhaust hose and the two sections of hose that connect the Y pipes to the large Y pipe. It should be easy enough to wire up a circuit for them. I would sell them for $500 + shipping. I also have the adapters to use them on CMI sporttube headers.

On my formula 312 fastech,, my exhaust goes out the transome and I used the Teaque Marine switchable tips.. they work great and sound great..,
