Hi guys, just stripped my engine to fit some better heads and noticed this small crack(circled). Is it something I need to fix or can I live with it?

There's no practical way to fix that. I'd just run it. It's unlikely to cause problems because it can't spread further. I would use sealent on that bolt hole.

A 454/330 in a fairly light boat is fine. They even used them in twin boats like Pachangas. It really was your grandfather's 454 LOL.

1,600 hours on my 454 Alpha SS- about 1400 hours with 330 hp, another 200 with 430 hp. 24 years and counting- of course the drive has been resealed twice.

Boat is very light, it's a 211 Liberator, and with the cost of fuel here, will be light use only!!!!

I believe I might think about putting a stud in that hole coated with jb weld. Torque the stud to specs before the jb weld drys. I think that would work great. At least until you need to take the stud out
