If it's a 502 it will not have a mechanical fuel pump mount or cover plate on the mount?

From the picture it looks like a stock HP 500 (all the same parts)
hard to see on my phone but what is that on the throttle link side of the carb? Looks like an out of place return spring.

I would say your good to go.. at least from an external visual standpoint
