Thanks

I assume you can change the setting by tightening, or loosing the spring inside? Ideally I would like no more then 15#. I have been batteling water in oil issues since I bought this thing, have a feeling my water psi might have pushed a gasket.

Besides the hose, and thru hull, and clamps, is there anything else I need besides this?

Yes, that is how they work. I would get a "T" with 1.25" in and out hose fittings you can put inline on the intake or exit side of the sea pump and then, on the same "T" a weldelet with the appropriate size (1/2") for the pressure valve. You'll need a dump port too.
Eddie has those too: HDT-11403

Cheaper From Hardin Marine or CP.
http://www.hardin-marine.com/p-976-w...2quot-npt.aspx

It is really only about a $10 valve marked up to Marine prices.

Call them and cancel the order or call them and tell them you found it at CP for less. See what happens. It ain't Wal-Mart, but you never know.

Yeah, I have one and it has a Watts stamp and part number. Even at $80 it is way over priced.
