Cool Corsa exhaust question

I have a 2000 Baja H2X with the captains call exhaust. With the switch on for exhaust to be thru the hull (not muffled), something causes the diveter to open and send part of the exhaust to be muffled. When I hit the switch to muffle and then hit it again to be open it sounds normal for a short time. This happens a few times during a normal day. My question , is it possible to manually open the solenoid or diverter and keep it open all the time ??? If so , will this cause any damage to anything ??? Thanks for any information or suggestions...

The solinoids are adjustable.I had the same problem take to 7/16 wrenches or smaller at the end of the solinoid and turn the knuckle in a turn that should do it.You may also have a week solinoid. The worse case you can tie it open.

chk the electrical plugs at the solenoids. Mine did that, and that's all it was. They get loose.

They might just need a good "wiggle"

I had the same problem exactly! Mine was just a bad solenoid, you can find them on line for about $80.00.
